Presentation for His Majesty the King

On March 17th, a project Presentation was held for His Majesty the King at the Experimental Facility of the Department of Culture. Explanation of the overview, explanation of the field of seismic observation, explanation of seismic technology development, explanation of enlightenment activities, and explanation of future plans were carried out by means of poster displays. A virtual reality demonstration and a shaking table experiment were also conducted. Afterwards, we had time to talk with His Majesty. It was a great honor to have the opportunity to explain the project to His Majesty the King.

On March 21, Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) broadcasted a news introducing the project. This was interviewed by BBS during the project presentation for His Majesty the King held at the Department of Culture on March 17th. You can see it at the URL below.

Project outputs such as shaking table experiments, guidelines incorporating seismic technology, construction manuals, and hazard maps are introduced.
