Joint Working Group (JWG) was held on August 15th and 16th at the meeting room of the Ministry of Justice. Members of the four Working Groups (Ministry of Justice, Royal University of Law and Economics, Royal Academy of Judicial Profession and Bar Association of Kingdom of Cambodia) participated and made presentations on the Civil Code. This Joint Working Group is the third session. However, it was the first time that members from all these four organizations have made presentations, since in the former two sessions, presentations were made by only two organizations each time. During the two days, 55 members participated on the first day and 50 on the second day. JWG is the good opportunity for each WG to share and disseminate the basic knowledge and the new idea related to the Civil Code and the Code of Civil Procedure. All the members can collaborate each other in making comments and questions, as four respective WGs are familiar with different topics according to their mandate and progress.
