Project conducted 2nd Agricultural Cooperative Business Forum at each target province, Takeo, Kampong Speu, Svay Rieng and Kampong Cham, for 2 days in May and June 2018.

Total of 507 Board of Director members from 259 Agricultural Cooperatives and 26 companies participated in this forum.

After the 1st forum last year, some business networks were created among Agricultural Cooperatives, and between Agricultural Cooperatives and private companies at each province. In the 2nd business forum, it was aimed to strengthen the existed business networks and to create additional networks. At the group discussion in the forum, it was discussed on purchasing business, especially how to negotiate with fertilizer companies on prices according to the volume of contract of fertilizer, condition of delivery services, and conditions of payment etc. And they also discussed on advanced order of fertilizers with Agricultural Cooperatives members.

In Kampong Cham and Svay Rieng, some Agricultural Cooperatives established networks on purchasing business of fertilizers too. The more Agricultural Cooperatives network purchase from a fertilizer company, the more purchasing unit price of fertilizer would be lower, that results in its member can get benefits.

In Takeo and Svay Rieng, they also established networks on purchasing businesses.

Furthermore, in Kampong Speu province, a network on marketing business of vegetables was created, and Agricultural Cooperatives sell those vegetables to the market in Phnom Penh.

A lot of voices that agree with establishing the business network were heard from participants.

Some board of director members from Agricultural Cooperatives which participated in this business forum commented that "We are eager to join the business network to sell our agricultural products". Beside, fertilizer companies mentioned that "We can provide fertilizer more efficiently than before if a network totalizes the amount of fertilizers that some Agricultural Cooperatives purchase in big amount of our products".
