The Seminar of Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance of JICA's technical cooperation project, "Project for Modernization of Vehicle Registration and Inspection Administration System (MVRI Project)" was held at General Department of Transport (GDT), Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) on Thursday, May 25th, 2017. The purpose of the Seminar was to share the information of vehicle inspection and maintenance system in Japan. Officials of GDT, JICA experts, project assistants and other stakeholders attended the seminar.

First, Mr. Ota Masaya, JICA expert/Chief Advisor, delivered the presentation of "Motor Vehicle Inspection and Repair Business System in Japan". After that, Mr. Takagi Akira, JICA expert/Vehicle Inspection, delivered the presentation of "Technical Standards and Maintenance for Vehicle Inspection Equipment in Japan". Lastly, the related topics were discussed in Q&A session.
