The Project counterparts of Siem Reap Provincial Administration visited Nara Prefecture, which has a World Heritage site, and learned about Smart City initiatives in Nara.

Both Siem Reap and Nara Prefecture are common in that they are historical capitals and tourist destinations. It was very helpful to learn that cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous driving vehicles, historical experiences by using VR/AR, and AI analysis were used in the management and maintenance of the Heijo Palace Site Park.
