Takamatsu officials, from the General Affairs Bureau (Digital Strategy Division), who are in charge of smart cities promotion, visited Siem Reap Province for two days from February 6, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to observe a smart city initiative in Siem Reap, discuss future collaboration between Siem Reap provincial administration and Takamatsu city, and introduce Takamatsu city's smart city initiatives.

Members of Takamatsu City first visited related site and interviewed to related persons to deepen their understanding of the status of smart city initiatives in Siem Reap.

In addition, a technical working group was held, and Takamatsu City Officials made a presentation to introduce their smart city initiatives. Many questions were asked from the Siem Reap counterparts' side such as how to use tourism data, and the knowledge can be used in Siem Reap, and it was a very meaningful time.
