In January 2023, as part of the pre-pilot project, an environmental monitoring dashboard was created at the entrance of the Siem Reap provincial administrative.

Data on the environment (temperature, humidity), water consumption, power consumption, etc. within the premises of the provincial administrative building is constantly transmitted from IoT (Internet of Things) sensor devices to a data platform using a wireless communication standard called LoRaWAN. The project is trying to display such data on a dashboard in real time, such as monthly, daily, and hourly.

This pre-pilot project is scheduled to be developed as a pilot project within this project, " Urban Environment Monitoring by Sensors." At that time, sensors will be installed not only in the premises of the provincial administrative building but also in Siem Reap city, and the Project considers sharing various useful data through the dashboard.
