IT Skill Training Program is conducted for Officers in Siem Reap Department of Tourism
From 11th to 12th of May, 2023, 12 officers from Siem Reap Department of Tourism received an IT skill training program by Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT). As one of the pilot projects for JICA technical cooperation project, this training aimed to improve the practical processing skills of administrative officers, focusing on the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. JICA Expert Team will follow-up within the framework of the technical cooperation projects to ensure that the IT skills acquired in this training are reflected in daily work.
It is expected that the appropriate management of tourism-related statistics and other information collected at the Department of Tourism will enhance the efficiency of operations, as well as transparency of data management.
