On August 4, 2023, the project in cooperation with Fujitsu Research Institute Ltd. reported on a trial evaluation of Siem Reap according to international standards （ISO 37151+37153）.

The trial evaluation was based on the Siem Reap Smart City Road Map and utilized the international standards for smart cities, ISO/TS 37151 (Principles and Requirements for Performance Indicators) and ISO 37153 (Maturity Model for Evaluation and Improvement).

This trial evaluation was conducted by Fujitsu Research Institute Ltd., under the program of Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and Siem Reap was selected as the pilot city for this trial.

The Fujitsu Research Institute make an online presentation on the process of the process and results of the trial evaluation of Siem Reap Smart City progress, and the local venue hosted approximately 40 participants from many organizations related to Siem Reap Smart.

In the presentation, Fujitsu Research Institute explained the process and results of the trial evaluation, as well as the proposed improvement measures derived from the analysis.

During the Q&A session, in addition to questions and comments on the proposed improvements, Siem Reap stated that it will work to develop the city as a smart city using the evaluation indicators presented.

After this session, the Siem Reap Provincial Administration discussed the annual action plan of the Smart City Roadmap and its evaluation indicators to be considered within the provincial administration.
