The counterpart training in Japan was held concerning the Inter-ministerial Prakas on Immovable Registration Pertaining to Civil Code

The Inter-ministerial Joint Committee members composed of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (Ministry of Land) participated in the counterpart training in Japan from 31st of January to 10th of February.

In the first day of the training seminar, presentations were made. The first one was regarding the Inter-ministerial Prakas over Immovable Registration pertaining to Civil Code presented by member from the Ministry of Justice; the second was concerning the issues and circumstance of the Immovable Registration made by the member from the Ministry of Land. The following day, professors gave lectures on security rights in the Civil Code. During the seminar, the Inter-ministerial Joint Committee members also visited the registry office in Tokyo and the Japan Federation of Siho-syoshi Lawyer's Associations.

On the final day of the seminar, the co-chairpersons from Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Land formed an agreement on continuing the drafting of the Law on Immovable Registration.

Through the training seminar, the Inter-ministerial Joint Committee members acquired knowledge regarding the security rights provided in the Civil Code, and acquired a deeper knowledge of immovable registration by visiting the relevant institutions. Based on this knowledge, the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Land will draft the Inter-ministerial Prakas for Immovable Registration from here on out.
