[No. 53] "Farmers Field Day" in both Maliana and Buluto (Laleia)
"Farmers Field Day (FFD)" were conducted in Maliana on 20 and 24 March, 2020 and in Laleia on 26 March, 2020 in order to share good result of demonstration field of Farmers Field School (FFS), which has started in last November, to other farmers and stakeholders also to survey rice yield on the FFS fields.
The events were fully supported by Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF), especially extension department, starting from preparation to implementation of FFD, and were participated by MAF regional extension workers, the farmers (in total 87 farmers), and Project members.
We will continue to support lead farmers of FFS based on shared experiences and lessons learnt so far.
