The three days training for MAF (Ministry of Agriculture and Fishery) officers in central level, Ermera and Liquica municipality was held from March 14 to 16, 2023. Around 35 training participants are working in Comoro watershed which is one of the target watersheds in the project.

Training participants took lectures related to Community-based Sustainable Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) which will be introduced to target villages by the project. On the second day of the training, the participants visited the village where CBNRM had been introduced in previous JICA project and exchanged opinions with the village people.

The field activities in Comoro watershed will start in July 2023. The counterparts who participated in this training will gain experience and deepen their knowledge about CBNRM activities through on-the-job training from now on.
