The faculty of engineering and CADETES project concluded an agreement for conducting research activities. The topics of the research are;

1. Build mini hydropower prototype (Mechanical Engineering Department)
2. Material properties of gravel and sand in some districts in Timor-Leste (Civil Engineering Department)
3. A study on the characteristic of local solar insolation in Timor-Leste (Electrical Engineering Department)

CADETES project provides technical advice and financial support for the faculties. One can assume that Hera would lead research activities and contribute to local societies in Timor-Leste.
