Project News

The project teams conducted a joint training on flow meter setting at GHAPWASCO (Gharbia Potable Water and Sanitation Company). This training was conducted jointly by SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) team and NRW (Non-Revenue Water) team at "Tanta Water Treatment Plant" which is located near the GHAPWASCO headquarters. Equipment was provided by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency). Most important thing to utilize flow meter is to get used to it in practical works. Before using on-sites, the team members deepened the understandings on the equipment and utilization off-sites. In order to have more skills on the equipment, the project team will have trainings at Hihiya Training Yard in Sharkiya Governorate under cooperation of SHAPWASCO (Sharkiya Potable Water and Sanitation Company).
