A three days workshop for effective utilization of trial SOPs on water quality control and operation record was held between 22 and 24 April, 2012 by joint cooperation of GHAPWASCO and MCWW. The lecturers, Dr. Saied and Mr. Shafy of SHAPWASCO, made presentations on the current activity and expected achievement. Participants animatedly discussed on innovation of operation and management of water treatment plants.

[Water Quality Control Method]

GHAPWASCO/MCWW reported the current activities of water quality analysis laboratory. Dr. Saied presented utilization of the SOPs for water quality control, communication system especially focusing on control of the amount of chemical injection (chlorides and coagulations) to operators, etc.

[Utilization Method of Operation Record]

GHAPWASCO/MCWW introduced the objectives of establishment of operation recording system and its process. Mr. Shafy commented challenges and achievements of SHAPWASCO in management of operation record and necessity of continuous effort.
