Message:
The world is more globalized now than ever. And thanks to that and international cooperation more and more countries are being developed. One of the International cooperation in cultural heritage preservation projects is the Grand Egyptian Museum Conservation Center (GEM-CC), where we do not merely transfer resources and technical know-how, but rather we seek mutual learning and sharing experiences. It is a mutually empowering experience that includes a wide variety of actors from the grassroots to national and international level. Only this plurality of activities and partners can give the right kind of thrust and momentum that is necessary for accomplishing the goals of international cooperation. Furthermore, GEM might be considered a source of pride for Egyptians, however, it also possesses a universal value that can touch all people around the world. So I have all the pleasure to be given the chance to contribute in such scale of a project, and I will do the best of my ability to make it even better.
