Mr. Kiyoshi Shiratori, Mr. Shingo Takeda and Prof. Yoshiaki Nishikawa, Advisors of FRGII project visited the research sites on participatory fish processing at Gorgora and Nebaga, coast of Lake Tana. The visit revealed that many fishers were interested in the fish processing by improved technologies for food at home and an income source, while they are dissatisfied about low market prices of the processed fish. In addition to the visit, draft research report were intensively discussed among the experts and researchers of Bahir Dar University. On the last day, advisors visited fish landing site at Bahir Dar City and observed a part of distribution mechanism of the landed fishes.
