[Ethio-SHEP] SHEP approach ToT (Training of Trainers) was conducted!

Ethio-SHEP ToT (Training of Trainers) was delivered to C/Ps in the targeted Amhara and Oromia region (Region, zone, woreda and kebele level experts) on Gender consideration in SHEP activities and SHEP approach implementation process in the month of Jun 2019. The objective of the training is to provide basic implementation skills of SHEP approach so that the counterparts can implement SHEP approach related activities on the ground as main implementers.

In total, 87 experts (37 in Oromia region and 50 in Amhara region) including Gender experts participated in the training.

Participants appreciated the contents & training methodology and especially, Gender analysis tools are very useful and relevant to implement in the field. They also realized why gender matters in Agriculture sector and importance of both husband and wife work together as partners to realize Market oriented Agriculture("Farming as business").

First draft of the action plan was made on the end of the training day by the woreda C/Ps.
