From the 7th -10th February 2022, JICA SDG14 Project team held a Project Cycle Management (PCM) Training in the Northern Division (@Labasa). We have previously held a PCM training in USP, inviting staff from all the divisions of Ministry of Fisheries in Fiji in November 2022, however, due to COVID19 restriction, Northern Division's officers unfortunately could not participate in it. Thus, this current PCM training engaged participants to analyze, plan and draft project design matrix of small-scale project which will be implemented under the JICA SDG14 Project in the division. Through the discussion, they have decided to implement their small-scale project titled"Improvement of Enforcement Activities in Qoliqoli Cokovata Macuata focusing on Kia Island. The SDG14 project will provide further technical and financial cooperation to each division. To do so, each division must finalize PDM and the small-scale project shall be started from April 2022. It is noteworthy to mention that JICA Experts continuously cooperate with Ministry of Fisheries in Fiji in refining the project design matrix.

Target Groups:	Fish wardens, fishers, qoliqoli owners in qoliqoli Cokovata Macuata Fish Venders and Buyers, Police Department of Northern Division, Commissioner Northern, MSAF, Customs Department, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Environment and Macuata Provincial Office, NGOs
