1. Activities at central level

1. Review governmental rules and regulations relevant to restoration of degraded ecosystems in conservation aeras.
2. Identify useful techonologies for restoration including those developed with JICA's assistance.
3. Review the existing technical guidelaine relevant to restoration.
4. Examine potential financial resources including GERHAN, Reforestation Fund, Private investment, and donor assistance to be utilized for restoration.
5. Prepare a draft of restoration guideline

2. Activities in the Project Sites

2-1. Restoration Plans in the Proejct Sites

1. Organize working group(s) at each project site which are responsible for planning and implementation of restoration activities in the project sites.
2. Identify the target areas for restoration activites in the project sites.
3. Review the current restoration plans (if they are already formulated).
4. Prepare draft restoration plans (if they are not yet formulated)
5. Hold workshop(s) attended by stakeholders to discuss draft restoration plans.
6. Review the restoraton plans as needed in the process of implementation.
7. Make documents of the planning process.

2-2. Implementation of Restoration Activites

1. Conduuct training for restoration to working groups.
2. Implement the restoration activities in the project sites.
3. Monitor, evaluate and review the restoraton activities
