The Indonesia's largest fashion event, "Indonesia Fashion Week 2015," was held in Jakarta from 26 February to 1 March 2015. Representatives from the "KUB Harungguan," a joint business group in Samosir for Ulos-applied handicraft business, participated in the exhibition of the event where their products were introduced in Jakarta for the first time.

In the event, they have been able to learn the latest fashion trend, specifications and quality of the products displayed in the booths attracting many visitors, effective ways of product display, and supply chain of similar businesses, among others. In addition, some visitors to the KUB Harunnguan's booth gave feedbacks about the products, including necessity of improvements in tidiness of finishing work, selection of raw materials, and product design, while others attached a high value to the products and their concepts.

These lessons and experience, which cannot be obtained in Samosir, would be of significant help to improving production and marketing activities of KUB Harungguan in the near future.
