We have developed a framework of the Career Development Ladder System, covers nurse's competencies and evaluating indicators which are foundation of the system during the first year of the project.

As the next important step, we have conducted a workshop and discuss how to operate this system and evaluate nurses' competency and indicators which we had already developed.

In this workshop, we have review the indicators and made minor adjustment according to the situation of the field, and then discussed methodology of evaluation.

It is expected in the next step that we will continue the discussion on the evaluation of indicators and develop appropriate tool which is suitable for respective hospitals. We also explore how to plan continuing professional development program based on the result of evaluation.
