Discussion on implementation guideline for the Ladder and table-top exercise.

As informed before in this homepage, Indonesian counterparts recognized lack of coordination between members of Output 1 and Output 2, and the mid-term review team recommended to facilitate the coordination between Output 1 and 2. As a result, we conducted workshop for the coordination from 15th to 17th April 2015.

On first day, members of Output 1 and 2 showed their progress of activities respectively and discussed how to utilize the Ladder for development of curriculum. And Output 1 and 2 team continued to discuss on their own tasks during 2nd and 3rd day.

Output 1 team discussed on the contents of implementation guideline for the Ladder and revised sentences. They also reported the result of trial of competency assessment tool at two pilot hospitals and discussed how to improve the tool based on the result of trial.

Disaster Nursing / Critical Care / Emergency Nursing team reviewed process of curriculum development, discussed how to utilize the Ladder for the process of the development and determined the future direction of the development.

Geriatric Nursing team determined to conduct field survey to obtain the need of the field for nursing practice for ageing people. They discussed the contents of survey tool.

We, Japanese experts often saw that Indonesian project members, especially members of Output 2 were confused how to utilize the Ladder. We explained it patiently and Indonesian members become to understand it step-by-step through our explanation and their own discussion. It is expected that they will deepen the understanding of utilization of the Ladder and develop effective and efficient curriculum.
