ID-SIRTII carried out an internship training for Mr Thienxay Boliboun, Acting Head of LaoCERT, from 9th to 20th March 2015. The project team had initially planned this internship training, where staff of LaoCERT, which does not have a long CERT history, can learn practical activities that ID-SIRTII has long been doing as an Indonesia's National CERT, and can apply these activities in Laos upon completion of the training.

Explanations by each section of ID-SIRTII about their activity contents to Mr Thienxay are different from day to day, and there were a lively discussions and Q & A session. Mr Thienxay learned contents that are not often picked up in the school typed training setting, such as organisational structure of ID-SIRTII, their management style, actual activities of incident response, and educational methods of staff members.
