For support to establish CSIRT at the local government, Short-Term Expert, Mr Yasumitsu Ishikawa, has been dispatched. His activities are focused on the following two points.

• Yogyakarta local government is designated as a pilot site of the activities, and he will provide support services to establish CSIRT by transferring technologies to the governmental staff members.
• He will develop ‘methodology for establishment of Indonesian Local Government CSIRT', whereby other local government staff will be able to refer to Yogyakarta's experience while establishing their own CSIRT.

Yogyakarta local government eventually established CSIRT in October and started their activities after completion of Mr Ishikawa's two separate work periods, June and September respectively.
