Participate training in Japan

From May 19 to June 8, 2019, JICA Tokyo International Centre held a training on "Improving maternal health" for health officials in 7 countries (10 people). One officer from the Maternity and Neonatal Division and another officer from the Pre-school Children's Health Division participated from the Indonesian Ministry of Health. They visited Shizuoka Prefecture, Shiki City, Saitama Prefecture, etc. They have observed health administration system and the place of care to learn about Japanese maternal and child health services.

After returning to Indonesia, the two participants presented their studies in Japan to their supervisors and colleagues to shared exchanged opinions about the planned early childhood health checkup for the project. They said, "we will utilize the knowledge gained from the training in Japan, and we will work to improve the health of mothers and children in Indonesia".
