The project translated some of them which are related to Japan and Indonesia to issue the Technical Briefs in the Indonesian language as follows:
Technical Briefs in Indonesian

We picked up the topics about the revision history of the MCH Handbook in Japan and the transition on MCH needs, recommendations on how effectively to utilize the Buku KIA (Indonesian MCH Handbook) in continuous maternal and child care, and the findings through the Buku KIA's utilization. You will find the articles based on the evidence about;

  • MCH Handbook should be standing with a mother and a family as its users,
  • The handbook which used by many stakeholders as the common tool, should be utilized effectively in health services,
  • The Handbook needs to maintain continuously.

We hope the stakeholders in MoH, students and teachers in the department of health and public health in higher education, and others who are interested in the MCH Handbook in Japan and Indonesia will read the briefs to support their activities and/or deepen their understanding of it. We wish you would further utilize the Handbook for Indonesian mothers and children.

Last of all, we would like to show our special thanks to Ms. Keiko Osaki, Senior Advisor on Health, JICA HQ, and the late Mr. Tsuyoshi Ando, JICA expert, who supported the project regarding Indonesian nuances and notation.
