The project conducted the first Cybersecurity Trend Seminar for 2022 on the topic of "Personal Data Protection" on October 18, 2022.

This seminar was mainly held offline, with 30 participants attending the venue at the University of Indonesia Depok Campus. 14 people also participated through online. Participants belong to private companies, government and public institutions, and universities, including Indonesia's critical information infrastructure (CII) organizations.

The lectures of personal data protection by Japanese and Indonesian experts seemed to be of interest to the cybersecurity professionals gathered at the seminar, due in part to the recent large-scale personal data breaches in Indonesia and the enactment of the Personal Data Protection law.

The lecture was followed by a Q&A session and networking time, during which there was a lively discussion.
