"Curriculum Development Method" training for university lecturers in Asian region

Our project conducted a face-to-face third-country training program at a hotel in Bali, Indonesia for five days from October 24 to 28, 2022. Third Country Training is a scheme in which JICA provides participants from developing countries with a technical training program in collaboration with a partner country (= third country).

The training was targeted at lecturers who provide ICT (Information and Communication Technology) related education and training at higher education institutions in each country. 3 participants from Cambodia, 4 from Laos, 4 from Mongolia, and 3 from Timor-Leste participated.

The theme of the training was "Curriculum Development Method" and the topics were as follows.

  • NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework / Security Body of Knowledge
  • Cybersecurity Curriculum in University of Indonesia
  • Curriculum Development Exercise

The training was led by the consultant team from Japan and was also attended by lecturers from the University of Indonesia.
