On October 31 and November 1, 2022, the project accepted a two-day visit from 4 faculty members from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, School of Information and Communication Technology.

The project team, including Prof. Heri Hermansyah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Indonesia, Prof. Kalamullah Ramli and Dr. Muhammad Salman from the University of Indonesia attended the visit and explained the JICA project and introduced the cybersecurity research conducted at the Faculty of Engineering. They also toured the facilities of the Faculty of Engineering.

During the visit, a Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed between the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and the University of Indonesia for the provision of cybersecurity related training materials, which will be used in cyber security classes at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. It was also discussed that the two universities will build a cooperative relationship in various aspects in the future, including student exchange programs.
