Photo: the investigation debriefing session in Jember University

On March 30th, we attended in the debriefing session in Jember University which was about investigation result of residents’ and local administrative staffs’ awareness researched from February to March.

During the session, the University explained the reality such as awareness gap between the areas, lack of equipment for watching and forecasting disasters, and untouched communication units, etc.

After that, Jember University and we exchanged opinions and decided to evaluate the disaster control ability of the areas and organize necessary measures based on this investigation result. Also we report this to SATLAK in Jember and discuss with them.

We will make the best effort as the disaster control ability of the areas improve by using and taking this investigation result into further project activities.
