The counterpart trainings have finished

The counterpart trainings which were held from January 24th to February 3rd have finished. Mr. Hariyono Utomo, the chief of Sabo Technical Center, Directorate General of Water Resources, Ministry of Public Works, and Mr. Edy, the head of Bakesbang(Residents protection agency) in Jember District have joined the trainings.

At the trainings, they learned about Japanese Banjir Bandang disaster and the disaster control and their risk management system with sight visiting, lectures, exercises and seminars, etc. With these trainings, they understood Banjir Bandang more practically.

Mr. Hariyono Utomo visited the office of Mr.Toshiyasu Ueno in Ministry of Public Works and reported the trainings. He said he would like to apply what he learned at the trainings to future Project activities. Also, they exchanged opinions how to work on the project's final assessment which was planned to hold around May.
