Explanation of the Banjir Bandang hazard map by Mr. Yoshida Expert.

The heads of villages and regional leaders in Panti county, who were guided by the staff of Board of nation unity, politic and public protection (BAKESBANGPOLLINMAS) in Jember district, visited the Kalijompo as model site in July 27th, 2011. About twenty participants watched the early warning system for Banjir Bandang in Kalijompo.

They heard the explanation of Banjir Bandang and the early warning equipment for Banjir Bandang by Mr. Yoshida Expert in the Kalijompo plantation office where such of the equipment installed. After that, they watched the demonstration for the operation of the equipment. Moreover, they heard the explanation by Mr. Agus, who was the manager of the Kalijompo plantation, for the SOP, which had been set about the procedure in disaster time. Furthermore, they watched installing conditions of the equipment.

They seem to have necessities for early warning system in their residence area.
