Short-term Experts gave lectures at Bureau of Public Works in East Java Province.

Two members of Short-term Experts, who came to Indonesia since September 12th, gave lectures about "Early Warning System for Banjir Bandang" at the Bureau of Public Works in East Java Province on September 16th, 2011.

Firstly, Uchida Short-term Expert told about "Analysis method of deep-seated landslide in Japan" and trained the method by using of aero-photos for participants.

Secondly, Kinoshita Short-term Expert made a presentation about "Early warning system for sediment related disasters in Japan", and Yoshida Expert gave a lecture about "Early warning system for Banjir Bandang disasters in Indonesia". After lunch, staff of the local consultant made a demonstration of GIS to make hazard map for Banjir Bandang.

Participants ask lecturer many questions eagerly and understood lectures step by step.
