Indonesia Disaster Preparedness Response Recovery EXPO (IDEC 2011); in which disaster-related Indonesian government agencies, regional administrative agencies, international aid agencies, NGOs and private enterprises have introduced their activities and products at their booths; has been held in Jakarta International Exhibition Hall from 27th to 30th of October. This exhibition has been backed up by the Office of the Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare and the National Disaster Prevention Agency with the aim of developing industries and improving the anti-disaster consciousness as well.

Several Japanese-affiliated firms, too, have exhibited their disaster-related equipment and devices. Besides, JICA has exhibited panels introducing its disaster-related project operated in Indonesia; it has also exhibited panels and distributed pamphlets on the Integrated Disaster Mitigation Management for ‘Banjir Bandang’ project.
