Participants of the meeting.

JICA reported their project fruits in Jember on the "One-day Roundtable Meeting" held by the Brawijaya University in Malang. The laboratory of river engineering, Department of water resources engineering, Faculty of engineering in Brawijaya University and the International research center for river basin environment in University of Yamanashi have a cooperative relationship on their research works, so that they held this meeting whose agenda was "Public awareness and disaster preparedness to water-related hazards" on February 14th, 2012.

Dr. Inagaki, Dr. Kakizawa and Ms. Ratih Researcher from Japan made presentations about their research and participants from Gajamada University and so on also made presentations. Their presentations were various research fields, for example flood, tsunami, Banjir Bandang, eruption of volcano and so on.

Mr. Yoshida Expert introduced his practical episode like he was confused on the evacuation training because Indonesia had different culture from Japan, so that participants had interested in his episode very much. Then they discussed about early warning of disaster in Indonesia hardly.
