Educational activity at Pace village

Photoeducational activity

On December 12th, at Pace village in Silo, which is one of the most high risk sediment disaster area, door-to-door educational activity was implemented.

Volunteers who attended training on December 3rd visited each house in Pace village with breaking into 11 teams by 3 members. At the each house’s door or inside the houses, etc., the volunteers handed in brochures and explained about Banjir Bandang disaster, daily preparation for the disaster and early evacuation.

Despite their new experience, they explained very earnestly. With respect to the volunteers’ attitude, the residents listened to their explanation seriously and some people told them many thanks and warm encouraging words. It was very memorable activity.
