The presentation of sabo information system

On December 23rd, the Presentation of development of sabo information system took place at the conference room of Directorate General of Water Resources, Ministry of Public Works. Around 20 members including persons in charge at concerned bureaus of Ministry of Public Works, etc. participated in the presentation.

During the presentation, Sabo Technical Centre introduced the information system developed to take prompt countermeasures against sediment disasters. The information system has been developed to enable to obtain disaster prevention information such as earthquake, amount of rainfall from the screen of Google Earth.

While we promote further improvement of the system, it is expected to be popularized in concerned agencies of disaster prevention of the nation, province, district, etc. and citizens and be used to advantage to improve disaster prevention countermeasures.
