Photo: the rain gage

We operate many activities for improving early warning and emergency measures for Banjir Bandang. As a part of it, we made rain gage and water level gage.

Modeling similar equipment made by Hidetomi Oi JICA adviser’s proposal, we used parts available in Indonesia for the production.

We are planning to install them in Jember, a model site, and use them for residents’ awareness improvement and disaster prevention in the communities.
