First workshop for making model lessons plan, which is vital activity in the project, was held at Savannakhet TTC from 12th July to 16th July. Participants were PA in PES, PA in DEB and Teachers in TTC, who are the ITSME trainers in the project, from project target area. The project team explained abstract of the project, role of ITSME trainers and result of baseline survey. After these explanations, they started making model lesson plan of mathematics in Grade3 to 5. Although lesson plans including exercises of calculations were prepared, they just conduct some exercises without stating the objectives of lessons clearly. Besides, they believe that lessons for child center education are the same as lessons including the group activity and students' presentations. Furthermore, they conducted a demonstration lesson at school by using model plan, the project team realized that it was not clear what students should learn in the lesson. Therefore, the project needs to consider what a lesson means.
