Workshop for head-teachers and academic teachers was held at the following places in August.

• 9th of August to 11th of August at Kaysone District in Savannakhet Province
• 12th of August to 14th of August at Champhone District in Savannakhet Province (Teachers in Phalanxay District were also participated)
• 16th August to 18th of August at Thakek District in Khammouane Province
• 19th of August to 21st of August at Himboun District in Khammouane Province
• 23rd of August to 25th of August at Sanasomboun District in Champasak Province
• 26th of August to 28th of August at Paksong District in Champasak Province (Teachers in Bachieng District were also participated)

In the workshop, abstract of the ITSME project and result of baseline survey was presented by the project team followed by discussion on an implementation of cluster & school based training. After that, model lesson plan was shown to head-teachers and academic teachers to improve it. Through this work, several recommendations for improving model plans were obtained from the participants.
