Second workshop in the second year

2011-03-14~03-19

In this workshop, ITSME trainers were able to complete three (3) kinds of model lesson plans which were not finished in the previous workshop with special focus on the following three key points in preparing lesson plans.

  • Congruence of lesson objective, learning activities and evaluation method.
  • Concrete plan on how "learners before lesson" can be transformed to "learners after lesson" with what kind of approach (learning activities).
  • Selection of suitable questions according to difficulty, quantity and sequence with consideration of students' understandings instead of asking all the questions in the textbook directly.

As a result, prepared lesson plans were more sophisticated than those they made last year. The trainers seem to be satisfied with their new lesson plans as some of them said that they wanted to teach with this lesson plan. This fact tells us that they are now enjoying making lesson plan with consideration of students' learning. It's not like previous practice anymore like making lesson plans just by copying the textbooks.
