Third workshop was held at Kammouane PES from 27th of August for a week. The preparation for TOT (Training of Trainers) was made mainly in this workshop. The details in each activity are as follows.

1. Checkup of the record/report forms for TOT and IS

In order to record activities in TOT and utilize the learning for IS at schools, ITSME team prepared several forms such as the report forms and questionnaire. It was checked by all the trainers about who uses which form when and what kind of contents should be described.

2. Confirmation of TOT plan

In terms of TOT scheduled in the second week of September, the implementation plan including venue, participants and roles of trainers was confirmed. Provincial teams were established to manage preparations and feedbacks by themselves.

3. Selection of model lesson plans

Firstly contents in 10 lesson plans developed in the previous workshop were confirmed. All trainers discussed which lesson plans were clearly able to show the lesson that project is aiming. As a result, two lesson plans, "Symmetry" in mathematics and "Heat movement" in science, were selected for TOT.

4. Preparation of the presentation for each lesson plan in TOT

In order to present both lesson plans effectively only in one day of TOT, the presentation contents were carefully discussed by each subject group. Each group confirmed the congruency of three points, which are objective, activities and evaluation, in the lesson plans. After confirming the points above, representatives of each district demonstrated the presentation. Then, other trainers commented to improve their presentation.

5. Arrangement of materials for TOT

Presenters will show some simple experiments and use real objects to make their presentation much clearer. Therefore, several materials are necessary to implement TOT. These materials were listed and some were developed by the trainers themselves.
