Sixth workshop was held at Savannakhet TTC from 26th of November for a week. There three main activities, reports of implementation of the second TOT, Making new ITSME materials and confirmations of ITSME activities.

1. Reports of implementation of the second TOT

Reports on the second TOT were presented by the representatives of each province. Although participants were satisfied with the implementation of TOT according to the results of questionnaires as well as the report from each province, trainers felt that they need to improve their explanations to make participants understand deeper on the contents of TOT. Therefore, trainers discussed how to present the contents to participants and respond answers on participants’ comments. From this reports, it can be said that trainers steady improved their abilities on how to make lessons and implement TOT through the implementation of TOT.

2. Development of exemplar lesson plans

It was planned that the outlines of 6 mathematics and 6 science lesson plans developed at the last workshop were confirmed. However, trainers requested that each trainer should make a lesson plan to understand lesson planning further deeper. Therefore, in mathematics group, each trainers decided an own topic for making a lesson. In science group, trainers basically develop 6 lesson plans which have the outline already. In addition, each DEB decides an own topic to develop the lesson plan. As a result, mathematics group will make 15 lesson plans, and science group also will make 15 lesson plans. Due to increasing the number of lesson plans, trainers could discuss only some of them instead of all the outlines.

3．Future project activities

The project reports the progress and future activities on the project on 5th of December at JCC. Therefore, the project shared them with trainers at this workshop. Firstly, the outline of the Endline survey was explained to trainers. Secondly, how ITSME make a lesson was presented to trainers because it will be presented at JCC. Finally, all trainers confirmed the progress of activities in this year and future activities in next year.
