1st Joint Coordinating Meeting of the Project was held in Vientiane on May 31st, 2011. The Number of the participants was about 40 including 8 persons from Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Vientiane and 9 persons from target 4 Provinces, Attapeu, Chamapasack, Salawan, and Sekong.

Summarizing the activities of preparation phase (6 months from November of 2010), 1) outline of the Project, 2) results of baseline survey, and 3) annual work plan were presented in the meeting. Director General of Department of Livestock and Fishery was chairperson of the meeting. Through the meeting, Project Document explaining the outline of the Project, Annual work plan, and the reports of baseline survey were officially approved.

In the next step, detailed action plan will be formulated in 8 target clusters of 7 districts, 4 Provinces.
