Technical training on aquaculture was organized at KM8 Provincial Aquaculture Center located in Pakse, Champasak Province from 19th to 23th of July, 2011 (7 days). The objective of the technical training was to make target Provincial, District, and Cluster level counterparts learn basic aquaculture techniques such as seed production and know aquaculture extension systems of the Project. Short-term expert explained aquaculture extension systems in the training. Staff of the center also instructed how to produce seed of Indian carp to the participant. It is expected that Counterpart conduct effective aquaculture extension in the Project sites by using basic aquaculture techniques that was obtained in the training.
