Technical Training on Aquaculture for Aquaculture farmers in Pilot Villages

Technical trainings on aquaculture were organized in the 5 pilot villages of the Project from 3rd to 11th of August, 2011. The objective of the training was to make aquaculture farmers in the pilot villages know basic aquaculture techniques. Because considering participants who are quite busy in the rainy season, the Project organized one day training in each pilot village. The trainings were smoothly implemented by combination of both lecture session in the morning and practical one in the afternoon. District level counterparts who participated in the technical training on aquaculture organized by the Project in July gave instruction to the villagers. 5 progressive farmers will be selected from the participants of the training and supported to experiment aquaculture techniques that learnt in the training.
