Team on Integrated Agriculture conducting sub-project in Doup Cluster, Taoy District, Salawan Province has organized monthly monitoring meeting for local people from January 2012. Up to now, the meeting has been organized totally 4 times.

The contents of the meeting include activity report from participant farmers, activity report of TSC (Technical Service Center) and monitoring report of farmer's activities from district staff, providing some information of selected topic such as rice pest management from Project Management team, and free discussion among participants of the meeting. After the meeting, the participants visit farmer's fields and observe their progress of the activities. The char of the meeting is usually deputy head of Taoy District Agriculture and Forestry Office. Besides, head of planning division of Department of Livestock and Fishery at the central, and head of Provincial Livestock and Fishery Section have participated in the meeting before.

Local people rarely expressed their opinion in planning stage. However, the number of participants has increased and they start to express their opinion in the meeting little by little. Limitation of women's participation is still problem to solve. Monthly Monitoring Meeting will be continued to organize for flexible project implementation based on farmer's needs and change of their attitude.
