Study team organized by PAREDD (Participatory Land and Forest Management Project for Reducing Deforestation) as JICA technical cooperation project visited LIPS office and the project site on 13th and 14th August 2012. Staff of LIPS briefed extension activities on livestock, aquaculture, and integrated agriculture at the project office on 13th August. Then the staff of PAREDD and those of LIPS discussed their experiences. Field visit for the aquaculture extension activities at Boungkeo village, Sukhuma district, Champasak province was organized in 14th August. Mr. Khamphai as a leader of aquaculture group in Boungkeo village explained the aquaculture activities to the PAREDD team. Then the PAREDD team members asked a lot of questions to target farmers. The members were interested in system of the village community pond and the profit allocation.
