Hand-over ceremony for training center of Doup cluster, Taoy District, Salawan Province was organized on November 7th, 2012. More than 50 persons including Deputy District Governor of Taoy District participated in the ceremony. The TSC produced more than 36,000 fingerlings of fish and more than 23,000 seedlings of industrial and fruits trees in this year. Most of them were provided to neighboring villagers. Besides, some fingerlings of fish were provided to the ceremony of fish releasing day in Taoy District on July 13. The TSC has also implemented some demonstrating activities such as SRI (System of Rice Intensification) and fish raising in the paddy fields. The TSC has also implemented some extension activities such as aquaculture, paddy fields rice production, and agroforestry by using revolving fund that the TSC manage. It can be said that the TSC has started to act as service provider to neighboring villagers.
